Ms. Hien Dang | English
Ms. Hien Dang is a fully qualified high school English teacher with 22 years of teaching experience. She has taught English and History at a number of high schools around the Sydney metropolitan area, including St Dominic’s College Kingswood, Patrician Brothers’ College Blacktown and Patrician Brothers’ College Fairfield. Ms. Dang also has experience in English HSC marking and assessment preparation with the New South Wales Board of Studies (NESA).
Ms. Dang’s life-long passion for English is demonstrated in her unique teaching style, with her exceptional expertise and high attention to detail reflected in the respect and enthusiasm shown by her students. Ms. Dang's philosophy to balance the 5 Fs of teaching -“Be firm but fair, friendly, flexible and fun”- bespeaks both her commitment to her profession as well as her aim for every student to be consistently engaged in the learning process.
Mr. Anthony Cheong | Mathematics
Mr. Anthony Cheong is a fully qualified high school teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience, having attained a Bachelor of Education from the University of Sydney in 2002. A Baulkham Hills High School alumni, Mr. Cheong spent three years teaching at Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School in Shanghai before returning to Sydney to teach at Sefton High School for 10 years.
Mr. Cheong is committed to delivering effective and engaging lessons where students are challenged to perform their best within a safe and positive environment. Whether teaching Year 3 or Year 12 Extension Mathematics, Mr. Cheong understands his students' needs and implements a variety of teaching strategies to optimise learning outcomes. As a highly passionate and dedicated teacher, Mr. Cheong prioritises his students' needs to ensure everyone achieves their personal best, regardless of their ability.
